Revolt// week 1 (5 lbs what what???)

Time for my weekly Revolt Fitness update!

You guys, I lost 5 POUNDS!
 Really, 5 lbs in just one week. And it was the simplest and easiest thing to get there.
Scott and I are amazed. (Hubby lost 4 lbs)

Sounds too good to be true right?? It's not and it is kind of blowing our minds.
So here is a basic rundown of the Revolt Fitness Program.
You are given a meal plan and the recipes. You eat 6 times a day (it's great:): Breakfast, Post-workout Snack, Lunch, Afternoon Snack, Dinner and Dessert. Scott and I were worried that the food would be weird, gross health-nut food, but it's not. It is yummy! The workouts are short. Seriously like 20-30 minutes. Monday, Thursday and Saturday you do the cardio video for the week, Tuesday is the lower body sculpt video and Friday is upper body sculpt video. The workout videos are posted each week on their website, which means you get different workouts each week (I love that!! Keeps it new and exciting). Saturday is cheat day and you're allowed to eat whatever you want.

The secret sauce of Revolt Fitness is Sundays. Sunday you cook all of your meals for the whole week. That's right, all of them. Don't get me wrong, it is a lot of work and time. But oh is it worth it!!!
You eat the same meals every day for 1 week. I was worried that I would get sick of eating the same thing for lunch or for dinner everyday for a week, but I definitely didn't. Sunday's are what make eating healthy and perfectly all week possible. If it's already made and portioned and put in a Tupperware with your name on it, there isn't much room for error. 

Most importantly, we aren't just loosing weight, we're gaining muscle! I know because I was so sore last week that I was walking around like a pregnant woman. 

So here is my one week progress photo... Can you tell a difference?? Most importantly though, I feel so good! I feel healthy, I have more energy and I feel in control of my body. It feels great!

P.S.S. Hubby's progress pic is SO good (amazing really) but he didn't like the idea of his picture up on the internet for everyone to see. Maybe I'll convince him later on down the road.....:)
