A year ago he put a ring on it

One year ago today....

I was visiting my boyfriend in D.C. and he took me to the Jefferson Memorial at midnight.

We were in love :)

We looked out over the Potomac river. 

 SURPRISE! He kneeled down and asked me to marry him (plus some other very sweet, mushy words)

I said YES! 

We were SUPER happy! 

He picked out the ring all by himself! Of course I was in love with it!

 And we called our families to share the joy.

(he's laughing because my Dad just said "you don't know what you're in for"- very funny dad)

Now we're an old married couple. Who are more in love than ever!!
