Being married is like the best thing ever! I get to start my own little family. It doesn't mean though that I miss my own family any less. I miss them ALL THE TIME. Thank goodness for technology that lets me talk and skype my family as often as I want. Sometimes though, I just want to be with them.

So, I was beyond stoked when my mom told me they were going to a cabin in Colorado for President's Day weekend and they wanted us to join. I can't wait!! 8 days and counting :)

So here's a little bit about my family....

My parents are basically the best parents in the whole world!!!! They've taught me how to work hard and play hard. They're the cutest couple too:)

Do I look more like my mom or like my dad????

My mom has always been my best friend. We could talk and talk and talk some more. Probably 90% of my phone minutes are spent talking to her. She's the best shopping buddy there ever was!! She's driven, smart, beautiful and practically perfect in every way. She's my idol.

I love my Mom. 

My Dad is just as awesome as my mom. I have always been a daddy's girl! He's always helped me be the best me. He is the best to play with; tennis, biking,swimming, football, soccer, hiking, snow skiing, water skiing, you name it and he's helped me learn how. 

See, he's teachin me how to ski right there.

             

I love my Dad.

My brother Nick has a special place in my heart. I think about how much he means to me and I just start crying (like right now!). I waited for a sibling for a long time and boy was it worth the wait! Nick is my best buddy. I think he is the coolest, most awesome brother a girl could have. We always have fun. 

The girls are all over him now...

I love my brother. 

My little sister Emily was the joy we didn't know we were missing in our family. She is the greatest gift! She is spunky and sweet; fun and entertaining; thoughtful and crazy smart. I miss watching her grow up, but it just makes every moment I spend with her so precious.

And now I get to add a perfect Husband to the mix.
