A little getaway -Part 1

We were so grateful to my grandparents for having us for a few days!

They have a gorgeous home on the beach just outside of San Francisco and we had a fantastic time.

The beach is so relaxing and rejuvenating. 

My Grandma is the sweetest! She made us this Valentine's Day breakfast and made the heart-shaped coffee cake that is a tradition in our family.  We had so much fun hanging out with them! They are pretty darn fun grandparents.

Our second night in Cali, Scott and I went into San Francisco to watch the Chinese New Year Parade. It was a blast. It was also a mad house. There were hundreds of thousands of people there to watch it because it's considered one of the top ten parades in the world. We were lucky to find a spot where we could see. Being in the city is just so much fun. We watched the parade for about an hour and then walked around the city. I just wish I could have done some shopping!
