Words really can't describe how excited I was to go home for Christmas this year.
Grad school was kicking my trash and I hadn't seen my family in what felt like forever.
We were so lucky to get to spent 10 whole days in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico (yes, you heard me right. I think it's beautiful...in it's own special way)
The long drive was prettier than usual since everything was covered in snow.
My brother has become a hot chocolate connoisseur (I think I spelled that right).
He welcomed us with this salted caramel hot chocolate. Um, it was amazing.
It was so fun to be there for my little sister's gymnastics performance. She brightens a room.
On Friday, my not so little brother got his Eagle Scout.
If you don't know, that is a REALLY big deal and I'm really proud of him!
He's still that little toddler in the pooh bear costume to me :)
My parents are just the cutest.
(do you see where I get my chin??)
Cake balls arranged in an American Flag. Cute and unbelievably delicious.
So proud. So so proud :)
Saturday, we did some Christmas Shopping in the morning, went downtown to the most amazing pizza place for lunch, walked around the plaza, spent way too much time in J.Crew and got in the hot tub.
Ya, it was a pretty perfect day.
And somewhere in the first couple days home I stole my little sister's over the top sequin headband.
Is it too much?
