I left my heart in Lake Tahoe

Scott and I got to spend a short amount of time at Lake Tahoe on our drive back from Cali a few weeks ago. Lake Tahoe is absolutely gorgeous and these pictures don't really do it justice. It was overcast, cold and windy. I was super bummed. I grew up about a half hour from this lake and I was hoping to see it's bright blue waters against a sunny blue sky.

Scott and I still had a lot of fun jumping around from boulder to boulder up and down the beach. (I don't have the longest legs and struggled a little bit. Lots of laughs. Lots and lots) I hash tagged #bouldering when I instagramed a picture from the lake thinking that I was being all clever and creating a new hobby. Ha nope. Bouldering is a real thing and I had all these random rock climbers on instagram liking my photo. Scott thought it was hilarious.

So here's to loving Lake Tahoe with all of my heart and learning that Bouldering is a real thing.
